Credentials and experience are important, and we've got 'em − lots of 'em. But we are also fun, and since you'll be hearing a lot from us, here's a little more about the real ResearchWorks.
Moshe Engelberg, Ph.D., M.P.H. Founder and C.E.O.
Moshe started ResearchWorks in 1991 and has spent the last 25 years inspiring clients and helping them get better results with his fresh thinking, rooted in strong customer voice research and behavioral science theory. As thought leader and brand evangelist, he puts his Stanford Ph.D. in Communication and Masters degrees in Public Health and Counseling Psychology to good use by delivering value through clients’ projects, speaking, and writing. Here’s to another 25 years!
Whether it’s translating complex ideas into solid conceptual frameworks or crafting creative concepts, Carlos balances beauty and functionality to maximize communication impact. Part artist, part architect, and part social scientist, Carlos is always on strategy. Which is why we put him in charge!

Mary Hunter, M.A. Director of Client Services
Mary is no stranger to serving clients and delivering strategies through custom market research. She has over a dozen years of designing and executing a wide range of qualitative and quantitative projects with major firms, including GfK, Ipsos, and TNS, and major brands like P&G and Kimberly-Clark. We love her for her highly consultative and warm style that gets respondents and clients to open up so that we always get optimal results.

Christine Brittle, Ph.D. Senior Researcher
Christine is an expert researcher with a passion for learning new things. Clients love her clear thinking and enthusiasm, as much as her excellence in moderating focus groups and interviews. Christine has an uncanny ability to quickly capture and synthesize the essence of what people are telling her. We love her because she always gets things done fast and right. And, of course, Moshe is always happy to have another PhD in Communication on the team! When she’s not interviewing people or making sense of survey results, Christine practices her neutral probing skills by trying to get her three school age children to tell her more about their days (e.g., “tell me more” and “anything else?”).

Giselle Castanon, Project Manager
The latest addition to our team of brainiacs, Giselle is not new to the research environment. Her key experience managing qualitative and quantitative projects for major national brands, makes her the ideal person for the position of Project Manager. Her research background, management skills, and positive attitude contribute to the smooth running of our projects and consequently, to the success of our clients.
For a guy with so many successes, and top secret big-name gigs as a professional drummer, Doug is remarkably modest. After two decades of Chief Strategy Officer-ing for a bunch of no-name companies like Apple (he brought Steve Jobs back), Palm, and most recently IDEO (he's an official IDEO Fellow now!), Doug entered the world of independent consulting. We grabbed him fast - as a senior advisor that makes all we do better. Doug is grounded in Design Thinking and specializes in business innovation. He also has special talents with duct tape, cardboard, and post-its to create rapid prototypes and meaningful innovation. We might be biased toward Doug because he earned his PhD in Communcation from Stanford just like Moshe, and has an MPH, too, just like Moshe. But we know you'll be biased in his favor as soon as you meet him, too. With that brilliance and his ability to make you laugh, It's hard not to be!

She is the happiest, nicest, most caring person you will ever meet. She is as good with numbers as she is with people, with lightening fast accuracy on both currency and time zone calculators. She dreams in GMT. Micheline always goes the extra mile for clients, colleagues, and even our mailman. She makes magic happen every day at ResearchWorks. She also happens to be an undercover superhero bargain hunter determined to deliver maximum cost-saving value to clients with unbelievable deals on anything a project requires.
